ET News respects each individual's right to personal privacy. We will collect and use information through our Web site only in the ways disclosed in this statement. This statement applies solely to information collected at ET News' Web site.
Part I. Information Collection
ET News does not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge personal information.
We collect information through the online ET News book store when books are ordered. This information may include the following billing information, which is used to fulfill orders:
Email, URL, Title, Name, Company, Job Title, Telephone number(s), and Address.
If a user subscribes to the weekly ET News newsletter, we collect the user's email address, which is only used to send the newsletter. This information is not shared with others. Other information we request is optional.
We employ cookies. A cookie is a small text file that our Web server places on a user's computer hard drive to be a unique identifier. Cookies enable ET News web site users to remain logged into the client area without having to re-enter their user name and password. The setting of this cookie is optional. Our cookies do not have an expiration date. Our cookies do not collect personally identifiable information.

Registered users will receive additional announcements from us about products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.
The information we collect will not be used to create customer profiles based on browsing or purchasing history. We will not supplement information collected at our Web site with data from other sources.

Our Web site offers a link to a public forum. Please be advised that information posted in these venues becomes public knowledge.

ET News makes every reasonable effort to maintain the accuracy of our information through frequent review. Users may access their own personal information and contact us about inaccuracies they may find by sending an email message to privacy@etnews.org. Users may delete their information from our database by logging into the client area.

If problems arise, users may contact ET News by sending a request to privacy@etnews.org. We are committed to resolving disputes within 24 hours.
